Chapter 2 part 1

"I'm not here to talk about my wings Lucifer and you know it," I replied staring back with equally piercing grey eyes. He smirked at me, knowing very well I am the only 'person' down here with the guts to call him Lucifer. "Well then, I'm here to commend you on your work," he explained with a seductive smile. I rolled my eyes at him, "You know boss, and I've told you before I'm not one for relationships in the work place," I stated bluntly. He laughed throwing his head back making his dark red hair fall into his eyes. It's not that I didn't find him attractive, he was tall, athletic build, long blood red hair he kept in a ponytail with yellow eyes that could pierce through me every time. I just didn't want to get caught up with an affair with the boss.

"Well then, I'll keep on pursuing you anyway," he said with a smile, "anyway that's not why I asked you here," I nodded and awaited him to explain his reason for summoning me. "Well in light of your hard work recently I think it's about time you go see that friend of yours, you know the one you sold your soul for?" he said. I smiled widely, "You mean it?" I asked suddenly excited. He smiled and nodded, "I think you've earned it with the work you've been putting in, but first I'd like you to go and collect this for me," he said handing me an envelope, "this is extremely important Dulcia, I can't have those Angels getting him first," I ignored the way he spat the word angels as if it was poison and stood from my seat.

"You know I never lose to those guys, I'll bring this one back for you, master," I bowed my head to him and teleported away. Just as I teleported I heard him say "I'd like to hear you moan Master at me," I was too happy to be disgusted at him at that moment and soon found myself in the human world. It was sunrise and the light was hurting my eyes. I growled under my breath and pulled my sunglasses from one of the many pouches on my belt and put them on. I opened the envelope to find my target, "Name, Jonathon Bricket, Age, 39, Sex, Male, Location, New York," I read out loud and looked at the photo.

I closed my eyes and focused on the man I had to find. In my mind it was complete darkness as I thought of his face and slowly a map of New York faded in along with a shiny blue dot for where Jonathon was. I focused closer on him and zoomed in to find his exact location. "Got it," I whispered to myself and I was off. I ran through alley ways so I wouldn't get stopped by the police because of my cross bow. I reached the location and found he was staying in a hotel. My radar was telling me that his room was on the top floor pent house suite. "Piece of cake, I can get in through the balcony and nobody will ever know," I whispered to myself and looked up to the 20th floor where his suite was.
